Being a practical facet of linguistics, applied linguistics helps in a great deal to develop the Arabic language. Therefore, this project was created to fulfil the following needs:

• Emphasizing the significance of applied linguistics.
• Conducting an in-depth research of the modern and heritage language studies.
• Being aware of how to take advantages the studies of modern linguistics
• Identifying the different areas of knowledge that can premise on linguistics (computational linguistics, psychological linguistics, forensic linguistics, applied…etc)
• Applying the theoretical principles of linguistics in the field of didactics
