International bilateral conventions in force:

France

1) Euro-Mediterranean Institute for the Environment and Renewable Energies (I3ER) at the University of Valenciennes (France)

Partnership agreement, signed on February 20, 2018, between the Mustapha Stambouli University of Mascara and the Euro-Mediterranean Institute for the Environment and Renewable Energies (I3ER) of the University of Valenciennes (France) for a duration of two (02) years. The purpose of this agreement is to:

  • Exchange of students and research professors, within the framework of scientific mobility;
  • The implementation of co-supervision theses;
  • The organization of scientific events.

    • 2) University of Haute-Alsace (Mulhouse - France)

    Framework cooperation agreement, signed on September 29, 2017, between the Mustapha Stambouli University of Mascara and the University of Haute-Alsace (Mulhouse - France), for a period of five (05) years. The purpose of this agreement is to deepen scientific cooperation relationships in common research themes and to develop educational and cultural exchanges, through:

  • Cooperation in the field of scientific research;
  • The co-supervision of theses;
  • The co-organization of missions, internships, seminars and symposia;
  • Exchange of documents and scientific equipments for research purposes;
  • Exchange of researchers and PhD students as part of their research activity;
  • Students exchange;
  • The exchange of professors;
  • Partnership training activities.

    • 3)University of Artois (Arras - France):

    Framework cooperation agreement, signed on December 01st , 2016, between the Mustapha Stambouli University of Mascara and the University of Artois (Arras - France), for a period of five (05) years. The purpose of this agreement is to facilitate and encourage inter-university cooperation between the two establishments, through:

  • Exchange of students;
  • Exchange of teachers and research professors;
  • The establishment of double degrees;
  • Collaboration in research projects on common themes;
  • co-organization of scientific events;
  • co-supervision of dissertations and theses;
  • co- publication and exchange of documentation and publications;
  • Training of administrative and library managers.

    • 4)Advanced Engineering Studies (Lille - France)

    Framework cooperation agreement, signed on March 03rd , 2015, between the Mustapha Stambouli University of Mascara (Faculty of Science and Technology) and the Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur (Lille - France), for a period of five (05) years. The purpose of this agreement is to develop relationships of scientific cooperation and cultural enrichment, through the following activities:

  • Exchange of graduation and post-graduation students;
  • Exchange of teacher-researchers;
  • Exchange of teaching methods, teaching resources, and publications of common interest;
  • Exchange of administrative staff.

    • Tunisia

    National School of Engineers of Sousse

    Framework cooperation agreement, signed on January 20, 2019, between the Mustapha Stambouli University of Mascara and the University of Sousse (National School of Engineers of Sousse) (Tunisia), for a period of five (05) years. The purpose of this agreement is: The exchange of students and research professors, within the framework of scientific mobility; The co-supervision theses; The organization of scientific events.

    Canada

    School of Higher Technology (Quebec - Canada)

    Agreement, signed on February 21st , 2019, between the Mustapha Stambouli University of Mascara and the “École de Technologie Supérieure” (Quebec - Canada). The purpose of this agreement is to: Promote training and research, the exchange of ideas, teachers and students; the organization of scientific, technical, and experimental cooperation activities; as well as the organization of seminars or conferences.

    Turkey

    Dokuz Eylul University and University of Uludag (Turkey)

    Two (02) agreements under the “Mevlana exchange program” memorandum of understanding: The first between Mustapha Stambouli University in Mascara and Dokuz Eylul University (Turkey), signed on June 02nd, 2014, for a period of five (05) years, related to an exchange of students from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences; The second between the Mustapha Stambouli University of Mascara and the University of Uludag (Turkey), signed on February 12, 2016, for a period of five (05) years, relating to an exchange of students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and humanities;

    Spain

    University of Málaga (Spain)

    Framework cooperation agreement, signed on March 19th, 2014, between the Mustapha Stambouli University of Mascara and the University of Málaga (Spain), for duration of five (05) years. The purpose of this agreement is to develop relationships of scientific cooperation and cultural enrichment, through the following activities:

  • Exchange of teachers, researchers and administrative staff;
  • Exchange of undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students;
  • Thesis co-supervision;
  • co-operation in research, teaching and training projects;
  • The co-organization of scientific events;
  • Exchange of publications, academic documentation and other information for research purposes;
  • Promotion of other types of cooperation of mutual interest.
