The 1st International Conference on Digital Economy is scheduled to take place on 02 nd & 03 rd December 2024 in Mascara, ALGERIA.
The evolution of technology has been and continues to be shocking to many as it has spread to almost every industry, science, etc. This modernization has resulted in what is now called the digital economy, a term that, according to the Australian bureau of statistics. the digital economy, is «the global network of economic and social activities made possible by information and communication technologies, such as the Internet, mobile networks and sensor networks»
The digital economy removes many barriers that previously defined how certain processes are conducted. A clear example is work, which has taken a 180 º turn with technological advances that allow, for example, to work from home, making telework one of the most used alternatives today because of the multiple benefits it combines. The importance of the digital economy is represented by several areas: time saving, cost reduction, increased flexibility, more information and decisions, power of decision, reinvention of processes.
The conference aims to: Clarify the concept of digital economy; Assess the effectiveness and positioning of the digital economy, particularly in developing countries; Identify opportunities and challenges for the development of the digital economy in Algeria and other countries of the world; Propose policies for rapid and sustainable development, and promote digital economic cooperation; Provide guidance for training and scientific research that benefits the digital economy.

Oral communications will be the subject of a 15-minute presentation in French or English. The scientific committee will select the papers on the basis of the abstracts provided and the authors will be notified of the acceptance of their proposal.
