The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is organizing the World Conference on “Biotechnologies for a Sustainable Future: The Engine of Agro-Food Systems Transformation”, which will take place in Rome, Italy from June 16-18, 2025.
Participation Opportunities:
Call for Posters: Participants can submit abstracts highlighting advancements, opportunities, and risks related to biotechnology, online before April 30, 2025.
Biotechnology Innovation Challenge: An opportunity for young scientists and innovators under 35 years old to take part in the innovation challenge. The top three projects will be presented at the conference, with financial support from FAO to cover travel and accommodation expenses.
Key Deadlines:
Deadline to participate in the challenge: May 2, 2025.
Conference registration deadline: May 5, 2025.
