The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) announces the opening of nominations for the ESCWA Award for Arabic Digital Content for Sustainable Development 2025–2026, in accordance with the official award framework.The award aims to highlight and support innovative digital initiatives that contribute to the development of high-quality Arabic digital content, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and generate a measurable and positive impact within Arab communities.
Eligible participants include:
- Public and private institutions
- Academic institutions
- Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
- Young entrepreneurs from Arab countries
For individual or team nominations of young entrepreneurs (start-up founders, teams, or individuals), candidates must be under 35 years of age, and the digital project, application, or product must have demonstrated a clear societal impact..
Evaluation of submissions will be based on the following criteria:
- Local and community impact
- Added value
- Content quality and relevance
- Functionality and services provided
- Design
- Technological innovation
The winners will be officially announced during the Arab Summit for Small and Medium Enterprises 2026.
